AC/DC- Back in Black It was just as heartfelt for us to see audiences return in force. Throughout the season we were moved by the many attendees who expressed how important CAPA is to them, and how happy they were to come back to our theatres. The year was filled with excitement and emotion as artists returned to our stages to captivate audiences with music, comedy, drama, dance, and so much more. The 2021–22 season brought a full-scale return of activity, including the triumphant return of Broadway shows, the debut of Cinema Columbus Film Festival, the CAPA Marquee Awards, and a diverse array of artists and events presented in our theatres. In this report we hope you will see the many ways that CAPA builds community through our activities. CAPA’s presentations, education and outreach programs, and collaborations enrich Columbus and central Ohio, building and supporting a vibrant cultural environment that is at the heart of our dynamic, growing community. We bring people together to enjoy performances, celebrate important moments, and expand horizons through art that challenges and inspires us. But CAPA is more than just our theatres beyond the physical structures, we build community. We are incredibly proud to serve as the steward of Columbus’ performing arts spaces.

When you think about CAPA, what is the first thing that comes to mind? There is a good chance it is our theatres-iconic buildings that are Columbus landmarks and the home of unforgettable performances and precious memories.
